Firsts home v Linlithgow 1 (Wed 29.10.08)


Linlithgow finished 4th last season, so a strong side.

Will beat Marc Osbourne 3-0 in convincing style.
Al lost to Derek Graham 1-3.
Chris beat Gordon Henderson 3-0.
Brian lost to Roy Miller 1-3.
Ian and the Titanic Andy McLearnon played the decider, 10-8 in the fifth to Grange!

Overall 3-2, 16-10 on points.

    I'm going to start a campaign to get Christy back to his rightful place at number 1 for the 1s. Forget all this stuff about picking a team based on ladder positions, we wwant Christy. We want Christy.

    Big match this Wednesday - Watsonians versus Grange. I'll go for a 4-1 win. It was shephards pie and green salad last Wednesday .... very good.
