Didn't see Andy Whitelaw's game at #4, see what you can glean from the score below.
Gavin Fulton at #3 had the measure of Robin Nisbet but he was suffering from tin-itis tonight from the few rallies I saw and that was the difference in the end.
Christy Looby at #2 sank without trace, again, against Rob Norris.
So there we were, 9:10 with no time-wasting & just the #1's to play for the bonus points. Plenty of time, you'd have thought. Gavin Walker v Ralph, unbelievable retrieving, excellent shot making interspersed with terrible tins, 2-2 we played up to 9:55 and had to conced the fifth due to lack of time. Everyone showered back at Grange where we had just 6 people for 4 pizzas, first time ever there were leftoverS for my lunch today. Overall 12-17 against the top team in the division.
Man of the Match must go to Gavin and Ralph for being so sporting about how it finished up. (Report: Loob)

Gutted for Gary. Any chance of getting more court time down there?? Its crap for the numbers to have to play against the clock
number ones
The timing thing is always difficult when you're not in control of the lights. However league rule B4 is quite clear when it states that "Grange must make appropriate improvements, which failing the club may not participate in the League in future seasons". It's a bit harsh on the club as there are now so many people and teams playing there but rules are rules. (Smiley, winkey thing!)
Coincidence that there's too much pizza when Christy's in the team?
Pete- the number ones didn't play against the clock on this occasion... as nobody told them to hurry up (I was on court getting humped at the time).
Anonymous Richie? - it was me (& Dougie) that got the pizza order reduced, based on 2 players telling me they wouldn't stay for food. If Andy W had his way, we'd have had a pizza each and would need a crane to get out of Grange afterwards ;-)
Next time you've got too much pizza, just let me know.

Not very anonymous of Myreside.
That might happen in the Over-35 team cup. And you might be there anyway, as of right.
When is the draw? The last excuse was that there were so many people peddling filth on the Watsonians website, you were busy cleaning up the mess and had no time for doing the old boys draw ;-(
Click on Watsonians forum to see the other place where Richard & I rabbit on about squash in the East (well, we do when the filth mongers aren't spamming the place up with viagra ads).
