Our Ladies seconds got to a good start againstt Tyne - #5 Caroline was able to serve into the stratosphere at Accies courts and won for the loss of 1 rally. Ale Stewart was looking good at 2-0 but Tyne #4 Maureen Pearman has bee playing squash for nigh on 50 years and in turn put the ball high in the sky to expose Alex's backhand volley: 2-3. Jo Petty and Karen Kennedy at #3 and #1 were outclassed. Dawn MacBrayne played out of her skin to beat Maureen Pearman 3-1.

Well done to the Grange ladies.
From everyone at WSRC.
Cheers Rich. Hopefully this means the standard of ladies squash in the East is rising, with the promoted Dalgety Bay looking like staying up and ESC back up from Div 2 by a country mile. CLASS88 might be in the playoffs and also get demoted from Div 1 in the same season, gulp!
2012/13 is gonna be fun.
Of course if the Grange Ladies win the play-off, a photo on the staircase will be provided. After all, the squash team that is on there never actually won a division, unlike the 2nd, 3rd and 4th teams in 2010/11 ;-(
Always room for a second squash photo on the stairs.
Suggest relocate existing and replacing it with a new all ladies photo.
Delighted to offer my services as team photgrapher!
